South Shields FC Roma Under-11s joined the club’s set-up in August 2014.
The team first got together in summer 2013, and are now playing in the Russell Foster Youth League.
They entered the league’s cup competition in March 2014, finishing fifth out of 10 teams.
The players in the team have improved at a rapid rate in a short space of time.
