South Shields FC is proud of its thriving youth set-up, with the aim to establish the club as the sporting heartbeat of its community.
The vision is to provide the senior team with talented hometown players developed within its own system.
The player pathway will enable children from as young as two and of all abilities to become part of a comprehensive player development programme offering education, guidance and support throughout the formative years, while creating a personal pathway into sport.
The club will provide coaching for boys, girls and disabled children, ensuring individual development is monitored along the way to provide appropriate age and ability progression for all.
In addition to the teams listed below, a development centre is on at Mariners Park’s new 3G pitch every Saturday between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, for children of all ages. It costs £3 per child to attend, and registration can be made on the day. The club will also be looking to form some new junior teams from the players who attend, and who would like to do so.
