VIDEO: Scroggins talks about return

Leepaul Scroggins has revealed the lure of returning to South Shields made him turn his back on retirement plans.

The midfielder, who has agreed a move back to Shields from Shildon, had been thinking about hanging up his boots at the end of last season.

However, the 33-year-old has been tempted into rejoining the Mariners, who he played for between 2007 and 2011.

In the video above, the former Shields captain talks about why he has decided the time is right to return, his aims for the 2015-16 season and the challenge which he feels lies ahead.
