VIDEO: Scott Pocklington – I never expected a season as good as this

Goalkeeper Scott Pocklington declared he had “enjoyed every minute” of his debut season at South Shields after the Mariners completed their league campaign.

Pocklington kept a clean sheet in the Mariners’ 1-0 win at Northallerton Town, and afterwards hailed his team-mates.

In the video above, he discusses the final-day victory, and the season as a whole.

He also talks about his hopes for the future, and the atmosphere in the Shields dressing room.
