VIDEO: Sakr delighted at form

Adam Sakr declared he was enjoying his football more than ever after scoring his first goal for South Shields in Saturday’s 4-0 win at Brandon United.

Sakr was at the heart of many of the Mariners’ best moves as they dismantled Brandon on their own patch.

His performance came just weeks after he was knocked out and suffered a dislocated shoulder in the abandoned game against Ryhope CW, and in the video above, he discusses how frustrated he was watching from the sidelines.

The 21-year-old also talks about his performance at Brandon – which he felt was his best of the season so far – as well as the form of the team, and looks ahead to Tuesday’s home game against Team Northumbria in the League Cup.
