With just two weeks to go until the start of the South Shields FC International Tournament, fans are urged to buy their tickets now to avoid any disappointment.

The tournament will kick-off with a fixture between Marseille and Celtic’s Under-23s on Friday, July 27, with kick-off at 7.30pm.

The following day, the Mariners will make their bow in the competition as they take on Southampton’s Under-23s at 3pm.

The tournament will draw to a close on Sunday, July 29 with a third-place play-off at 1pm and a final at 5pm.

Since the tickets went on sale at the club, demand has increased for the three-day festival of football at Mariners Park.

Supporters are advised to avoid the queues on each of the three matchdays by purchasing tickets early, and should sales continue to increase, there is the potential for the games to become all-ticket.

Tickets are available to buy from Mariners Park between 1pm and 4pm on weekdays, and online at all times by clicking here.

Those who buy online can take advantage of discounted tickets which give them the chance to book for the entire weekend, with three-day adult tickets available at £30, with concession tickets priced at £24 and child tickets at £9.

Individual match tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £3 for under-16s, while a family ticket for either of the first two days of the tournament costs £22 for two adults and two under-16s.

Those looking to book merely for the final day of the tournament – gaining access to the third-place play-off and the final – can buy tickets at a cost of £15 for adults, £12 for concessions and £5 for under-16s.

So please secure your tickets now to avoid any disappointment!

Registering online for tickets is quite straightforward. However, if you would like some assistance with this process, the club will be holding a series of surgeries to guide you through the steps, so just call us to book your place.

By registering, it will also help the club better understand its fanbase, and give us the ability to use that data to better tailor offers, promotions and other updates to specific individuals, groups and areas.

Tickets for all of the club’s home pre-season fixtures can now be bought online and in person.

Supporters now have three options to buy tickets in advance of games at Mariners Park.

E-tickets, as they have been for the last three weeks, are still available to buy online by clicking here, and tickets can be emailed for home printing.

Supporters can now also buy tickets online and choose an option to collect tickets instead of receiving E-tickets.

Those who choose this option will be able to collect their tickets from Mariners Park between 1pm and 4pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Fans who would prefer to purchase paper tickets in person can do so between 1pm and 4pm, Monday to Friday. These tickets are now available at Mariners Park.

The club has home pre-season friendlies scheduled against Consett this Friday, against Blyth Spartans on Saturday, July 21 and against Hebburn Town on Wednesday, July 25.

The SSFC International Tournament between the Mariners, Celtic, Marseille and Southampton will take place between July 27 and 29.

Tickets for all of those fixtures are available to buy in the ways mentioned above.

If tickets do not sell out for any games, they will be available to buy at the turnstiles on matchday.

A ticketing system is to be introduced to allow supporters to buy tickets online ahead of all matches at Mariners Park.

The new system is now live on the club’s website and can be accessed by clicking here. Tickets for the South Shields FC International Tournament are now available to buy from there. At this stage, tickets for the tournament are available online only, with tickets to be available from Mariners Park at a later date.

Supporters will receive an e-ticket via email on completion of their order, which they will show on arrival at the ground.

The turnstile operators will scan in the barcode via a handheld scanner to allow admittance to the ground.

Those who arrive at the ground and wish to pay on the gate will receive a ticket at the dedicated turnstile when they pay the entrance fee.

Each ticket will have its own unique barcode and once scanned in, it will not be allowed entrance again.

All new season tickets will also have their own unique bar codes, with the name and package of each season ticket holder printed on the back. These will be ready to collect in July.

As well as tickets, supporters will also be able to book hospitality and sponsorship via our website and book the function rooms.

The club hopes the system will make the matchday booking system much easier for supporters.
