The club’s bingo lottery and Lucky 4 Lotto games continue to provide vital revenue – and give supporters the chance to earn big cash prizes.

The bingo lottery game, organised by club vice-president Bob Scott, has been running for almost a decade and its latest game ran for seven weeks, during which time a jackpot of £889 built up. Kelvin Davies, Dennis Gwynne, Phil Naisbett and Viv Scott won £222.25 each after their six numbers were matched.

The bingo lottery is based on each Saturday’s National Lotto draw, with participants selecting six numbers between one and 59 at a cost of £1 per week per line. Each Saturday, any numbers which come out on the National Lotto draw are ticked off until the first participant(s) match all six of their selections, therefore winning the prize. Half of the proceeds benefit the club and the other half makes up the jackpot.

The latest bingo lottery game begins this Saturday and entry tickets can be downloaded at the Bingo Lottery section of the club website, and can also be obtained by calling Bob Scott on 07920 554377.

The Lucky 4 Lotto draw resumed this week, meanwhile, after being paused since the start of the pandemic.

Organised by club committee member Steve Cairns, each participant selects four numbers between one and 40 at the start of each game, with four random winning numbers drawn each week. The numbers decrease by one with each draw until the game is won or it reaches a minimum range of one to 20. Currently, participants can select numbers between one and 27.

It costs £1 per line per week to enter, with 40p from each ticket going directly to the club, 45p transferred to the jackpot and the remaining 15p placed into a reserve pot, which is then brought into play for the draw which follows the winning of the jackpot.

The latest draw was held on Wednesday, September 8 and the numbers drawn were 7, 11, 12 and 24. There were no winners, and next week’s jackpot will be approximately £3,250. To enter ahead of the September 15 draw, please contact Steve Cairns via the club or send an email with your phone number included to
