South Shields defeated Stokesley SC 3-1 last week to bring their season to an end.
The Mariners finished 15th in Ebac Northern League Division Two, and ended with four wins in a row.
Here is a look at some statistics from the campaign…
James Talbot finished his debut campaign in the Northern League as Shields’ top appearance maker, having played 47 times. Captain Chris Locke was next on 46, followed by Chris Feasey (42), Barrie Smith (41), Aron Burn (38) and Stephen Ramsey (37). A full list is available here: Top appearances – 2014-15
The Mariners’ top goalscorer was Paul Kane, who struck 24 times in 33 games (29 starts). Second was Stephen Ramsey, with 13 goals, followed by David Molloy (12), James Talbot (11) and Barrie Smith (8). A full list is available here: Top goals – 2014-15
