To all participants in the SSFC Members Club, and to those supporters who wish to join, please note that that all membership renewals and new applications should be submitted by 16th August 2018.
You will still be welcome to join the Members Club after this date, but failure to meet the deadline may mean that you are ineligible for some rewards that the football club or Members Club may offer from time to time.
As we know, the Members Club was constituted with the implied intention of helping the football club progress through fundraising, promoting its profile, and assisting where possible with the running of the club.
In return the football club wishes to ensure that our members are rewarded for their contribution to the Members Club in supporting them.
We will be looking at the ways in which our members contribute, such as attendance at home games, away games, and meetings/functions organised by the Members Club.
So we would encourage all our members who have not renewed yet, and those considering joining, to get behind the Members Club in being instrumental in the progress of our football club.
Thanks again to all those who have renewed, and we are currently taking renewals and new applications in Julio’s Bar and Restaurant at Mariners Park each working day between 9am and 1pm, and Thursday evenings between 6pm and 8pm. Applications outside of these hours can be handed to the bar staff, who will pass onto our committee members.
South Shields joint managers Graham Fenton and Lee Picton are to hold their second question and answer session with supporters.
The SSFC Members’ Club event will take place on Thursday, just five days after the 6-1 FA Vase quarter-final win over Newport Pagnell Town.
Fenton and Picton held their first Q and A in December, which was well-intended by members.
Again, the event will be free for members to attend.
As well as the Q and A element of the night, there will be food put on for those who attend, and a game of bingo.
All members are welcome to attend – if you’re not in the Members’ Club yet, or have yet to receive your membership card, please visit the ticket office at Mariners Park on matchdays or call 0191 454 7800. To join up, it costs £5 for adults and £3 for children.
The event will start at 7.30pm, and members simply need to show their membership card on the night to gain entry.
