Keith, one of the most exciting talents of the early Premier League years, is an engaging speaker with plenty of stories to tell.
He will be at Mariners Park on Saturday, October 24, and will be joined by another former professional footballer, Joe Allon.
Joe played for Newcastle, Chelsea and Hartlepool United during his career, and has since gone on to be a compere and host at events.
He will be the MC for the evening, while another performer will be comedian Terry Joyce.
It will be one of the first events held in one of the new function rooms at Mariners Park, which are currently being renovated.
South Shields FC commercial manager Colin Docherty said: “We’re delighted that Keith will be coming to the club for the talk-in, and it’s sure to be an entertaining night.
“Keith had a very eventful football career, on and off the pitch, so he will have plenty of interesting stories to tell.
“His book, How Not To Be A Football Millionaire, proved extremely popular, and I’m sure Keith is someone who will appeal to all football supporters.
“We’ve already had great interest in this event, and it’s looking likely to be a sell-out, so I’d urge anyone who’d like to come to book up fast to make sure they don’t miss out.”
Tickets for the event cost £20 each, which includes a pie and peas supper. There will also be a raffle and an auction.
