Adam Sakr, Gareth Young and Lee Maitland have all departed South Shields after signing for new clubs.

Sakr, pictured, who joined the Mariners last summer from Bishop Auckland, has joined Jarrow Roofing.

The winger made 27 appearances for the Mariners, scoring four goals.

Goalkeeper Young, meanwhile, has moved on to Consett after playing 14 times for Shields this campaign.

Maitland had not made an appearance for the Mariners this term, but was a key member of the side last season, and has now signed for Jarrow Roofing.

South Shields FC would like to wish all three players the very best of luck for the future.
