South Shields Football Club can confirm the departure of first-team coach David Hall.
This was David’s second spell on the coaching staff with Shields, having also served as Matt Pearson’s assistant manager in the early 2000s, after which he had a short spell in charge.
He returned to the club to assist manager Jon King during the 2014-15 season, and continued in the backroom team last term as Shields lifted the Ebac Northern League Division Two title.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank David for his service and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
Following David’s departure, the management team at Mariners Park is headed by manager Jon King, assistant manager Lee Picton and first-team coaches Gary Middleton and Mark Scott.
