Christmas is a time for family, fun, festivities and…food!

And we’ve got some great food available for you in the lead-up to December 25…and on the day itself.

15401119_1496871676993860_5337993417449220100_nCarl’s Carvery, which operates from Mariners Park, has a Christmas fayre menu on at the ground on Monday to Friday between 12pm and 4pm, which is also operational between 5pm and 7pm Wednesday to Friday.

This will run until Friday, December 23.

In addition, meals will be served on Christmas Day from 12pm, with a very limited number of tables still available.

First of all, here is the Christmas fayre menu:

Starters:
Soup of the day
Prawn cocktail/Potato skins with dips
Main course:
Carvery with a choice of: Turkey/Beef/Pork/Gammon
Nut Roast with fresh vegetables
Steamed fish/chips/mash/salad
Desserts (options change daily):
Christmas pudding
Warm chocolate fudge cake
Apple crumble
Syrup sponge pudding
Ice cream
Cheesecake

Three courses cost just £10.95 per person. This is the same for groups.

If anyone would like just the carvery and dessert, it’s £6.95. Desserts change daily.

Main Course:
Traditional Christmas Lunch
A selection of seasonal vegetables
With a choice of turkey, beef, pork and nut roast

Apple crumble and custard
Cheesecake of the day
Chocolate fudge cake
Followed by:
Sweet mince pies, cheeseboard, chocolates and coffee

The Christmas Day special is £49.95 for adults and £29.95 for children, with one sitting at 12pm.
