South Shields vs FC United of Manchester: Supporter Information

Supporters planning to attend Saturday’s game between South Shields and FC United of Manchester are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

At this stage the club does not expect the match to be all-ticket, but this is subject to ticket sales and should there be a surge of interest in the coming days, the situation will be reviewed.

Purchasing tickets in advance will accelerate the process of entering through the turnstiles and it is hoped it will ease any queuing there.

Due to the volume of people expected at Mariners Park and following consultation with the relevant authorities, the decision has been made to segregate the two sets of supporters.

South Shields supporters will be able to enter via turnstiles 1 and 2, with home season ticket holders and those who have bought tickets in advance also able to access the ground via the hospitality entrance, which is adjacent to the first two turnstiles.

FC United supporters, meanwhile, can enter via turnstile 3, with all turnstiles set to open at 12.30pm. Any supporter found in their opponents’ end of the ground will be ejected from the ground, and not allowed to re-enter. FC United fans will be directed to turnstile 3, which is at the far end of the ground as you drive to it.

Within the segregated area, away supporters will have access to food, hot drinks, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, as well as the toilet block in that section of Mariners Park. There will also be seats available in that area.

Admission prices at the turnstiles are £10 for adults, £8 for students and over-65s and £3 for under-16s, with card payments not accepted.

There is a £1 discount for those who buy tickets for the match online, with sales to continue until midnight on Friday. Please click here if you would like to purchase online.

It promises to be an exciting afternoon at Mariners Park as two of the BetVictor Northern Premier Division’s promotion contenders go head-to-head, and a big crowd looks near-certain.

We very much look forward to welcoming both sets of supporters to the ground.

Those who would like to buy tickets in advance but are struggling to do so online can call 0191 454 7800 or visit Mariners Park during the office opening hours of 12pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
