SSFC Women return to league action with visit to York RI

Updated: Mar 22

Update: Sunday's game against York RI has been called off. Read the original match preview below.

South Shields Women return to league action with a visit to York RI Ladies this Sunday (2pm kick-off).

The lasses were left disappointed after their 2-0 defeat against in-form Bradford City AFC Women a fortnight ago, and they will no doubt be wanting to make amends against a York side who have struggled for consistency lately.

Sunday’s hosts have forfeited their previous two encounters and in total, have lost nine points as a result of games being called off.

For Shields, a winless run of four games played could be broken if they replicate September’s 3-1 win against the newly-promoted side - Annece Legg and Sophie Greener bagged the goals that day.

Sophie’s thoughts

Co-head coach Sophie Clough spoke to us this week ahead of our match this weekend, where she outlined the team’s thinking over the past fortnight, as well as the state of the squad.

Scarlett’s thoughts

Shot-stopper Scarlett Gowans has helped us this week to preview our next challenge.

“The week off has been good for us. It’s been a chance to recover, recharge and refocus going into Sunday.

“It’ll be good to get back on the pitch! It’s been nice to have a break, but within that, we’ve trained well, and are ready to get back on track on Sunday.

“Everyone’s really determined to get back to winning ways! We’re all focused and ready to put in the work to make it happen.”

The truck driver may face liability if they are found to be at fault, potentially leading to personal injury claims, property damage, and even criminal charges in severe cases https://www.financeteam.net/what-happens-if-a-truck-driver-gets-in-an-accident-in-georgia/. Trucking companies may also be held accountable for accidents caused by their drivers, depending on the situation. It's crucial for truck drivers to have proper insurance coverage to handle such incidents, and they may need legal representation to navigate the complex claims process. Hello, I am looking for information on what happens if a truck driver gets in an accident in Georgia. Specifically, I would like to understand the legal procedures, potential consequences, insurance claims, and any regulations that govern accidents involving truck drivers in Georgia. Are there specific laws, guidelines, or resources I can refer to in this situation? Any insights or helpful websites would be greatly appreciated.
