South Shields Football Club are happy to retain The South Shields FC Supporters Alliance as a sponsor for the 2024-25 season.
The supporters group was set up in 2019 after the old Members Club folded.
A group of old members were approached by David Fall and Steve Cairns apparently at the request of Geoff Thompson to form a Supporters group within the club.
The idea is to raise funds in various ways and assist in helping to fund the club when needed.
They branched out after a couple of years to run a travel branch and supply a bus to and from every away game during the season.
SSFC Sponsors Alliance are the current sponsor of Club Captain Robert Briggs.
The Alliance - and their subsidiary Away Travel Group - are also the current sponsors of both home and away dugouts, the corner flags and also has sponsor boards around the 1st Cloud Arena.
Alliance Chairman Kenneth Buzzard has had a healthy relationship with the Club since forming the Alliance and working closely to aid the Club off the pitch.
"We are a committee of nine members currently with hundreds of members in the Alliance - we do raffles and stuff like that so we can get sponsorships.
"In the long run, the majority of what we collect ends up in the Club. So if Andy Morris (the Club's physio) needs medical equipment, we chip in for that."
Club Operations Director, Carl Mowatt said: "I am delighted to have Ken and all the alliance signed up for another season at 1st Cloud Arena.
"The management team both on and off the pitch values the partnership we have with the Alliance and the Supporters Travel, which supports us and gives the great community spirit that exists within this great club."
Supporters can join the Alliance for a £5 up-front fee for a lifetime membership.
