South Shields FC partners with The Holy Hobo

South Shields FC is delighted to announce an exciting partnership with popular Newcastle bar The Holy Hobo.

The Jesmond hotspot, a keen supporter of a wide range of sports and teams, is promoting the club’s message to its clientele, opening it up to new audiences as the club seeks to continue to grow its fanbase.

Those with a South Shields match ticket or season ticket are now able to take advantage of a 30% discount on all food and drink at The Holy Hobo between 6pm and 9pm on Saturday home matchdays, on production of their ticket.

The Holy Hobo is also sponsoring the club’s Lucky 4 Lotto game for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

Further plans include the introduction of The Holy Hobo’s famous cocktails at 1st Cloud Arena as the relationship continues to blossom.

South Shields FC head of partnerships and merchandise Harry Duwell said: “We have really enjoyed getting to know the team at The Holy Hobo, and to have formalised a partnership which we are convinced will have real benefits for both organisations.

“This relationship helps to further establish the South Shields FC name within a wider audience, particularly the student population, which we are very keen to explore further as our fanbase continues to grow and diversify.

“We’ve had lots of exciting conversations with The Holy Hobo as to how this partnership can develop, and look forward to our supporters feeling the benefits of this in the months ahead.”

The Holy Hobo is based in Jesmond Three Sixty, Newcastle, and is open from 12pm-2am on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 3pm-2am all other days.

Adjoined to The Holy Hobo is the Karaoke Kave, Jesmond’s only karaoke bar.

The Holy Hobo general manager Kirstin Stoker said: “The Holy Hobo is known as being the friendly neighbourhood bar and to be able to extend our invitation to South Shields FC and its patrons is a very exciting step, and we are anticipating great things from this partnership. Several of my team and I have visited the grounds for tours and actual games, which has helped to further strengthen the relationship between the club and the venue.

“We have our new food menu launching within the next week, then our brand new cocktail menu launching soon after, which can only mean the Hobo cocktails will be coming to SSFC very soon for all fans to enjoy at 1st Cloud Arena. We look forward to visiting the grounds on a much more regular basis and welcoming the fans into our home, The Holy Hobo!”
