South Shields make the short journey to Hebburn Town on Tuesday for their final away match of pre-season (7pm kick-off).
The Mariners defeated Scarborough Athletic 1-0 on Saturday to make it three friendly wins from five, and will now complete their preparations for the campaign with a trio of matches against sides from the Pitching In Northern Premier League East Division.
The first of those tests will see them come up against Hebburn, who finished 13th in their first season at that level last time out.
Former Shildon boss Daniel Moore has since been appointed as manager of the Hornets, who will be eyeing a climb up the table in 2022-23.
Their efforts to do so have been bolstered by the summer arrivals of former Shields midfielders Wayne Phillips and Will McCamley, with ex-Mariners Danny Carson and Olly Martin also part of the Hebburn squad.
Hebburn have displayed impressive form in pre-season so far, with an eye-catching 1-0 win over Gateshead the highlight within a run of four victories and two draws from their six fixtures.
Team news
JJ Hooper (hamstring), Dillon Morse (groin), Cedric Main (knee) and Callum Ross (knee) remain unavailable for the match.
