Pete Graves: "I'm an Adopted Mariner!"

Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves visited the 1st Cloud Arena in January and was open about his admiration for the club.

The North East born reporter was a guest at the Mariner's home fixture with Farsley Celtic in the Vanarama National League North.

Paul Blackett's brace helped Shields to a 2-1 victory over Celtic, a first home win for interim Head Coach Elliott Dickman.

Graves was keen to praise the running of South Shields, as well as explaining his personal connection to the club and the area.
