Match Preview: Oxford City v South Shields

South Shields FC travel down to Oxford this weekend to face former National League side Oxford City FC.

Shields are coming off the back of a win against Warrington Town where the Mariners took a 2-1 victory with goals from Will Jenkins, who makes it 2 goals in 2 games, and new addition Ashton Mee who is currently on loan from Stockport County who got himself off the mark for the Mariners, scoring the winning goal.

Oxford City currently sit two places below South Shields in the table in 18th place starting the campaign with 2 draws against Marine and Darlington and 1 defeat coming against Curzon Ashton in a narrow 1-0 with a goal scored by Isaac Sinclair.

South Shields fans should purchase tickets in their specific area of the stadium.

These tickets are clearly marked with the club's crest.

There will be a limited number of covered seats reserved in the Main Stand for away supporters.

AWAY SUPPORTER PARKING

There are two car parks on site that can be used by all supporters visiting Marsh Lane for £5.

The Main Car Park is located outside the Community Arena and the external 3G pitch. To reach this car park, turn left immediately when you turn into the site and follow the road until you reach the car park.

If this car park is full, you can park in the car park that is located at the entrance to the site. Once you turn off the main road into the site, you will be able to see this directly in front of you.

DIRECTIONS TO OXFORD CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

From the North: Turn off at junction 9 on the M40 on to the A34 toward Oxford.

Continue on the A34 and take A44 exit towards Oxford.

At the Peartree roundabout, take the 2nd exit on the A44.

At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit on the A40 for 600 metres.

At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue on the A40.

After 1.8 miles take the exit towards Marston/Elsfield onto Marsh Lane/B4150.

Continue for approx. 800 meters until you see a sign for Court Place Farm
