Match Information: Farsley Celtic vs South Shields

The Fixture:

South Shields are looking to get back to winning ways on the road after a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Radcliffe in midweek. They travel down to Buxton where they take on Farsley Celtic, with the Leeds based club ground sharing with The Bucks this season.

Shields, having earned consecutive home wins, lost two on the bounce at King’s Lynn and Radcliffe to put them in fourteenth and with a mountain to climb if they are to challenge the league’s top seven with eleven games to play.

Tomorrow presents itself as an excellent opportunity to, though, as the Mariners take on a Farsley side who are winless in fourteen and who have lost their last eight games, scoring just twice in that spell. Celtic sit at the foot of the table, nine points from safety and after Elliott Dickman’s side thrashed tomorrow’s opponents 5-1 at the 1st Cloud Arena back in November, they will see this as the perfect chance to claim their first away triumph since the turn of the year.

Tom Broadbent continues his journey back after making his return to the starting eleven on Tuesday night. Dillon Morse and Tom Allan remain sidelined as Shields’ only longer-term absentees.
