Match Information: Chorley vs South Shields FC

The Mariners look to get back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, making the trip down to Chorley in a crucial match.

The first game between the two sides this season came at the 1st Cloud Arena, in a thrilling 3-3 draw which saw former South Shields forward, Sam Hodgson, net an equaliser five minutes into added time.

This time around, Shields sit in fourteenth after a late goal saw them suffer a 1-0 defeat away at Buxton in midweek. It is their second consecutive away trip of the week with their most recent point on the road a 1-1 draw at Spennymoor Town on Boxing Day. A January littered with match postponements means Shields have the chance to climb the table throughout a busy February and March period.

Chorley come into the game off the back of an impressive 4-1 victory over fellow promotion hopefuls, Brackley Town. The hosts sit 4th in the table and are unbeaten in 2025.

There will be no segregation in place for this fixture.

Car Parking:

With the limited parking at Victory Park reserved for players and officials, the most convenient place to park is in the town centre, where parking is generally FREE after 1pm on Saturdays. For those using public transport, Chorley train and bus stations are a ten minute walk from the stadium.
