Marske United league fixtures switched

South Shields' Pitching In Northern Premier League fixtures against Marske United have been switched, with next Tuesday's match to now be held at 1st Cloud Arena.

It was deemed highly unlikely that the pitch at Marske's Mount Pleasant would be playable on that date, and another league game postponement was a distinct possibility.

A request was made to change the venue to 1st Cloud Arena, and the club accepted this in order to give it the best possible chance to be played.

The reverse fixture between the teams will now take place at Mount Pleasant on Saturday, March 4th, with Shields having originally been designated as the home side on that date.
