We are delighted to make our first pre-season fixture announcement, with Sunderland AFC to visit 1st Cloud Arena on Saturday, July 8th.
The match will kick-off at 12.30pm.
Standing tickets will be priced at £13 for adults, £8 for over-65s, students and disabled supporters, and £3 for under-18s. Seats are set to be £15, £10 and £5 respectively.
Further details regarding tickets and on-sale dates will be announced in due course.
Sunderland qualified for the Championship play-offs following a sixth-placed finish this season. They fell narrowly short of a place in the final at Wembley after being beaten 3-2 on aggregate by Luton Town.
The last time Shields took on a Black Cats first-team in pre-season was in 2019, when Jack Ross’ Sunderland earned a 2-0 victory in front of a crowd of 3,261 at 1st Cloud Arena.
