League trip to Stalybridge Celtic postponed

Saturday's Pitching In Northern Premier League match between Stalybridge Celtic and South Shields has been postponed.

Due to the low temperatures of recent days and the overnight temperature forecast, the league granted clubs permission to hold pitch inspections on Friday.

The Bower Fold surface was inspected at 3pm and was deemed to be unplayable as it is frozen.

A new date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course.
