Geoff Thompson, Chairman of South Shields FC

Thank you for all your positive comments and messages following the initial announcement last week that ticket prices in 2025/26 will be coming down. Today I’d like to share some of the detail.

Next year it will be cheaper to watch South Shields FC, irrespective of which division we are competing in, if you pay on the gate.

  1. A Standing Adult Ticket bought at the gate on the day of the game will be reduced to £15.

  2. A Standing Concession Ticket will be £9 and the qualifying criteria will be widened to include Military Veterans, Blue Light Workers and Students in Education or Training.

  3. Children aged 6-16 will pay £4 for a standing ticket. (Under 12’s will still need an accompanying responsible adult with a valid ticket).

  4. Children under 6 will go free.

But, the transformational change in our pricing structure for next season comes in our 2025/26 Season Ticket offer:

  1. A standing Adult Season Ticket will be £270 or £225 if you take advantage of Early Bird Pricing and buy before Friday 4th April

  2. A seated Season Ticket will be £305 or £255 if you buy before 4th April

  3. A premier seated Season Ticket will cost £325 or £275 before 4th April

Season Tickets will offer supporters the equivalent of between 5 and 8 games for FREE compared to Pay on the Gate prices. That’s £139 cheaper than paying on the gate if you secure yourself a seat now in our magnificent new stand for the whole of next season. It’s also £65 less (with early bird offer) than the equivalent season ticket price for a seat this year.

The various Season Ticket packages will deliver a saving of between £3.50 - £5 per game compared to pay on the gate prices,  the price of a pint which I hope you’ll drink inside the ground with 2500 other supporters

An adult who takes advantage of early bird pricing could be watching a game for under a tenner, or just over £11 if watching from a seat.

I believe that these changes to ticket prices will make us one of the cheapest clubs to follow in the National League system irrespective of which level we are competing at next season.

We hope this will benefit all supporters including Sunderland and Newcastle Season Ticket holders who we hope will also buy a South Shields FC Season Ticket.

Tickets will be available to buy online from 10am on Tuesday 4th February and staff will be on hand from 5pm at the Hereford game that evening to help you choose the best package for you and take payment.

AS in previous years we’ll be offering supporters the option to pay in instalments to spread the cost of your new season ticket or you can take advantage of other payment options including PayPal Credit.

The next update will share our hospitality and box package prices.

Thank you for your support
