2024/25 Retained List Confirmed

South Shields Football Club today announce its retained list for the 2024-25 season.

Blair Adams has made the difficult decision to pursue other opportunities for his future career both on and off the field. We are sorry to lose Blair, but we support him wholeheartedly with the decision he has made. To thank Blair for his service to the club, both Blair and his family will be our guests of honour for our first pre-season game.

Ongoing support and discussions are taking place with Dillon Morse while he recovers from his injury. Further information will be released in due course.

James Sloan will continue to be a major part of the First Team while continuing his education with the Academy and Sunderland College.

Michael Woods departs the Club after two seasons, whilst Jordan Hunter and Dylan Stephenson return to their parent clubs.

Everyone at South Shields Football Club would like to extend their gratitude to the departing players for their service to the Club throughout the season and wish them well with their future endeavours.

Blair really tried hard in the house of hazards challenges. I believe what he tries will pay off.
