Would you like to represent South Shields FC next season?
You’re being given the perfect chance to prove your ability this Saturday.
Open trials are taking place for the club’s reserves team, which is now under the management of Mariners legend Leepaul Scroggins.
Budding players are welcome to come to Mariners Park on Saturday, with the trials starting on the 3G pitch between 10.15am and 12.30pm.
If you think you’ve got what it takes, feel free to come along – what have you got to lose?
Those who are deemed to be at the required standard will get the opportunity to win a place in the reserves squad for next season, under the guidance of Leepaul, David Graham and Christopher Reay.
The reserves will compete in the Wearside League, while there is also a potential pathway to the first-team.
The two squads will train side-by-side on a weekly basis during the season, so if you impress for the reserves, you will be sure to catch the eye of first-team joint managers Lee Picton and Graham Fenton.
If you think you’re good enough, come and have a go!
