Ntumba Massanka joins Stalybridge on loan

Ntumba Massanka has joined Stalybridge Celtic on loan for the rest of the season.

The striker has made 15 appearances and scored five times for the Mariners since arriving in the summer of 2021.

He will now spend the remainder of the campaign at Bower Fold after finding game-time limited over recent months.

The club has an option to recall Massanka after 28 days of his loan.

South Shields manager Graham Fenton said: “We’ve decided to let Ntumba go out on loan in order to get some more game-time.

“Over recent months, following the arrivals of JJ Hooper and Cedric Main, Darius Osei’s return from suspension and the emergence of Sam Hodgson who is doing really well, Tumbs has found it difficult to get minutes on the pitch.

“It has been decided that it’s best for both parties for Ntumba to go and play football at Stalybridge and we wish him all the best for his time there.”

We can also confirm that defender Brandon Taylor has returned to Darlington following a loan spell at 1st Cloud Arena. We wish Brandon the very best for his future endeavours.
