Information for supporters travelling to Gainsborough Trinity

South Shields supporters attending Saturday’s Evo-Stik Premier Division match at Gainsborough Trinity are advised of the following information which has been released by the home club.

A large crowd is anticipated at the Martin and Co Arena, with Gainsborough advising fans to arrive at the ground earlier than usual and to buy tickets in advance in a bid to avoid queues. To buy a ticket in advance, click here.

Admission prices are £12 for adults, £8 for concessions, £4 for Under-16s and free for children of pre-school age. Kick-off is at 3pm and supporters are able to pay at the gate.

Following advice from the police, home and away supporters will be segregated at the match.

The entrance for Shields supporters is found on Northolme, next to the PING stand.

Food, as well as hot and cold drinks, will be available inside the ground, but no alcoholic beverages will be permitted for home or away supporters.

The Blues Club will be restricted to home supporters only on matchday.

Gainsborough have suggested The Elm Cottage (opposite the ground) or Horse and Jockey Gainsborough (a five to 10 minute walk from the ground on Church Street in the town centre) as alternative venues for a drink before and after the game.

Those travelling by car are asked to be sympathetic to local residents and park considerately.

Parking is available at the ground, but spaces are expected to fill quickly.

Alternative car parks can be found in the town centre (a five to 10 minute walk from the ground) on North Street, Roseway, Lord Street and Bridge Street/Ropery Road.

Programmes will be available to buy at the ground for £2.50.

Much is riding on Saturday’s match for both clubs and we are sure it will be an exciting day for all concerned.

We wish all supporters a safe journey to Gainsborough and look forward to seeing you all there.
