An update for all SSFC supporters
The capacity of 1st Cloud Arena is set to be reduced for the immediate future following last Wednesday’s announcement about the planned return of supporters to football grounds at non-league level.
Any games played in August will see maximum crowds of 300, which will increase to 600 in September, providing at least one match has been played with the capacity of 300.
As a result of those restrictions, the club announced on Wednesday that it was pausing season ticket sales to ensure sales did not exceed the capacity of 600.
We can also now confirm that tickets purchased as part of the Tickets To The Future scheme will be held until crowds are unrestricted, as including them alongside other season ticket sales had the potential to tip the balance over 600, with each child expected to be accompanied by an adult. The club is hugely grateful to everyone who donated and is committed to ensuring those tickets are presented to worthy people as soon as the restrictions on crowds are lifted.
The restrictions on crowd numbers also affects the number of people which will be able to stand on the balcony at games, and sit in the main stand.
The club will be in contact with balcony and seated season ticket holders soon to clarify the current position.
We thank all supporters for their continued understanding and patience during these unprecedented times.
