The club would like to say a huge thank you to all supporters for the tremendous backing given throughout the season so far.

The campaign will now finish on Sunday, May 21, with a trip to Wembley Stadium in the final of the Buildbase FA Vase.

The club would like to stress that all tickets for the game are to be purchased from the FA. They can be bought by clicking here, or by calling 0844 826 2010.

Tickets cost £25 for adults, £10 for students and pensioners, and £1 for under-16s.

Tickets for group bookings – parties of between nine and 49 people – are £12.50 for adults, £5 for students and pensioners, and £1 for under-16s.

Those who require more than 49 tickets should contact the FA’s customer relations department on 0800 169 2007, and select Option 7.

On the day itself, the turnstiles at Wembley will open at 10.45am. The FA Vase final between South Shields and Cleethorpes Town kicks off at 12.15pm, while ticket holders can also watch the FA Trophy final between York City and Macclesfield Town at 4.15pm.

Ticket sales to Shields supporters have progressed extremely well since going on sale immediately after the semi-final against Coleshill Town, and over 9,000 tickets have so far been sold to Mariners fans. The club has been informed there will be ample tickets available for supporters.

Those buying tickets online may periodically encounter a message stating South Shields tickets have sold out, but more should quickly become available as new sections of the ground are opened up.

The club has been allocated tickets in the west section of Wembley, and will also use the west dressing room.

Blue badge parking is available at the stadium at a cost of £15 per person via

A complimentary shuttle bus service will also be in operation, taking supporters from Wembley Park Station to the ground.

Parking spaces should be booked from

Advanced booking rates are £65 for coaches and mini-buses, £15 for blue badge holders, £30 for cars and £5 for motorbikes and scooters. The club has been allocated the yellow car park at Wembley.

The borough in which the stadium is based is covered by a Controlled Drinking Zone (CDZ).

It is an offence to drink alcohol in any public place after being asked not to do so by a police officer or police community support officer. Failure to do so can result in a fine of up to £500.

Should any supporters be planning to take a musical instrument to the game, they should get in touch with the club as soon as possible so it can make a request to the FA.

Supporters are able to bring flags to Wembley that measure up to 2.5m at their largest height or width. If a flag is larger than this, they should click here to register details and seek prior approval.

Any flag poles brought to the stadium must be no longer than 1m and no wider than 1cm, and must be made from wood or plastic only. Flags draped over the Level 5 gantry must not restrict the view of supporters below.

The FA has also advised that any flags obscuring views and emergency signage, or impacting the enjoyment of others, will need to be re-positioned or removed.
