South Shields will look to make it five wins out of six tomorrow when they travel to Heaton Stannington in Ebac Northern League Division Two.

The Mariners go into the game full of confidence against a side sitting sixth in the table, after Jon King’s side defeated second-placed Washington 2-1 last week.

Craig Roberts is set to return to action from a hamstring injury in the 3pm kick-off at Grounsell Park, while King is expecting to have a full squad available for the game.

In the video below, the Shields manager previews the match against a team which beat the Mariners 4-2 last September.

South Shields’ players again voted for the worst trainer of the week after the session on February 26 at Mortimer CA.

And defender Ben Riding was a resounding winner of the yellow jersey!
