Former Sunderland striker Ryan Noble has become the latest player to join South Shields after agreeing a move from Sunderland RCA.
The 23-year-old signed for RCA in the summer after a successful spell at Durham City, and has played for the likes of Burnley, Watford, Derby County, Hartlepool United and Gateshead in the past.
The pacy forward is now looking forward to a fresh challenge at Mariners Park, and in the video above, he discusses his move to Shields.
He talks about why he “jumped at the opportunity” to join the club, describes himself as a player and looks ahead to the challenge this season.
Noble was a prolific goalscorer at youth team level at Sunderland, and also made six appearances for the Black Cats first-team, five of which were in the Premier League.
He is in contention to make his Shields debut in Saturday’s game against Easington Colliery at Mariners Park.
